The death of a long-time employee has sparked protests outside Valdivian's headquarters, as the company faces growing scrutiny for its handling of worker well-being. The victim, who had been employed by the company for over 20 years, tragically ended his life at work this morning. This marks the third suicide in as many weeks, fueling public outrage and demands for accountability.

Protesters, including longtime workers and family members of the victims, are calling on the government to take immediate action. “Valdivian cannot continue to evade responsibility for these deaths,” said James, a protester. “Many of the victims left letters with their reasons for ending their lives, and all the reasons were linked to their work at Valdivian.”

The company’s handling of mental health issues, long working hours, and the controversial psychological processes used to increase productivity have been under intense scrutiny. With numerous suicides among its workforce, Valdivian is facing increasing pressure from the public, particularly from those who oppose Valdivian and other large corporations, as well as from politicians who share those views, to address the crisis before more lives are lost.
